TheONbutton

It's great to be here, and it's been a great start for theONbutton!

I've met some wonderful people and it's been amazing helping to solve their technology problems. A big thank-you to all of you!

Did you know theONbutton is open 7 days a week?

Appointment times can be arranged between 8am and 7pm, Monday through Sunday, and there's no weekend surcharge.

Getting more out of your smartphone

If you live or work somewhere with weak cell coverage, connect your smartphone to a secure wireless connection. Your phone will be more reliable at receiving email, and you'll reduce your cell data usage which will help to avoid overages. You'll probably get better battery life too if your phone is locked to a strong WiFi signal instead of constantly hunting for a weak cell signal.

Buy someone a lesson before 10/31 and save $25 off your next appointment!

If you know someone who would love to get more out of the Internet, or Microsoft Office, or a gadget like their smartphone, a personal lesson makes a great gift. Following an initial consultation, lessons are tailored to the recipient's specific needs. Lessons cost $50 for an hour and if you buy one as a gift for a friend before 10/31/11, we'll take $25 off the cost of your next appointment. That's like getting a free 30 minute house call!

The new Roku 2 is incredible for watching TV

Who needs expensive cable TV in this economy? I've been using the brand new Roku 2 to enjoy TV & movies on Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime on my TV. The redesigned Roku is about the size of a hockey puck, delivers movies in stunning high definition with suround sound and consumes less power than a nightlight! Best of all the range starts at $59, while the $99 Roku 2 XS can be hidden out of sight thanks to its clever remote control technology. Get in touch for more info.

One computer for everything

Parallels 7 is now available and allows you to run Windows and Mac applications side-by-side on your Mac. It's awesome, I performed a full install of Windows 7 onto a MacBook Air using Parallels 7 in one hour!

Referral program is coming...

A huge thank-you to those of you who have recommended theONbutton to friends. Making customers happy is theONbutton's sole purpose, and being recommended by them to others is the most wonderful thing in the world. A referral program is coming soon to say thank-you, stay tuned...

Have a great weekend!
